One of the best ways to build your confidence is to do public speaking.  One of the best ways to start your public speaking journey is by joining Fremantle Quaynote Toastmasters. We meet every Monday evening from 6 pm - 7.30 pm at the Fremantle Bowls Club, with supper to follow. Come to your first meeting for free to find out what it's all about.

Vegan Soupi at FERN

FERN Community Soupi - Dinner by Donation (Mon and Wed nights). Come to FERN at 26 Montreal Street Fremantle for weekly Soupi Vegan dinners on Monday and Wednesday nights. Payment by donation for a lovely vegan meal prepared by the community. Volunteers welcome from noon onwards to help with preparation on Monday and from 2 pm onwards on Wednesday. Dinner is often followed by a music jam session by local musicians. Food is served by around 6 pm or a little earlier if we have lots of volunteers. All welcome. Please note we do not serve Soupi's on Public Holidays.

Kangaroo A Love-Hate Story

Bach to the Bush

'Bach to the Bush' is an ongoing concert series by Newcastle, NSW cellist Anthony Albrecht. In these two-hour concerts, he performs selections from J.S. Bach's suites for solo cello interspersed with other short works for the instrument and discussion of this timeless music. An outstanding young musician of international renown, Anthony is a recent graduate of The Juilliard School's prestigious Master of Historical Performance, and is based in London as a freelance musician. Anthony returns to Australia regularly for performances with Pinchgut Opera and the Australian Haydn Ensemble, and has recorded for ABC Classics and VIA Records (New York City). Hundreds of people in country NSW, Victoria, Queensland and South Australian towns have enjoyed his performances over the last two years, and now Anthony has brought his annual tour to Western Australia’s south west, culminating in a concert in Fremantle at St John’s Anglican Church where his grandparents were married.   "Fluent and virtuosic..."
