Wide Open Mic night

Open Mic Night, talked about in all languages & countries of the world, the one & only Wide Open Mic! As this is the premier Open Mic Night the schedule books up in advance. To play, there’s two requirements, first you must email Tash Shanks via mojosopenmic@gmail.com. Secondly, once you’ve secured a gig, you must invite everyone you ever met to see your Mojos Bar performance! Venue open from 5pm. Live music starts at 8pm. Entry is free!

Journalists and the ‘first draft’ of history: free talk by Dr Mignon Shardlow

“Burke said there were Three Estates in Parliament; but, in the Reporters’ Gallery yonder, there sat a Fourth Estate more important far than they all.”  Journalists often write the first draft of history and today they are the antidote to the post-truth world, fake news and Trump’s war on media.In this enlightening talk, Notre Dame’s head of Journalism, Mignon Shardlow, will reveal how journalists make history, just as they report it.  Due to the popularity of Notre Dame’s festival talks, this year’s weekday program will be available to both morning and evening audiences.

Fremantle's Secret Submarine Base - Floor Talk

During World War II Fremantle became an important international submarine base, hosting more than170 Allied submarines.  Some of the submarines were Dutch and British, but the majority were American. Due to the secrecy surrounding its operation, its existence was little known at the time.   Join a floor talk presented by WA Museum Volunteers to find out more. Kids Night at The Left Bank

Enjoy some free kids entertainment and our ‘Kids Eat Free’ special every Tuesday evening! We’re offering free kids entertainment downstairs in our Conservatory Deck – kids can get creative with some arts and crafts, enjoy some face painting or dance around to our live music. The 2017 winter season will see Bib & Tucker host a series of events with Scott Bridger, Executive Chef of Bib & Tucker and May Street Larder, at the helm along with a variety of special guests. Sing Sing Sing Not Your Normal Choir

Are we a traditional choir? No! We are an open participation group where anybody who wants to attend is welcome to sing and perform as part of the choir.revolves around one song. Each week revolves around one song. The amazing David Harwood teaches the arrangements to participants, and then we end the hour of song by performing the newly learnt song. Feel Your Best Fitness Bootcamps

A small group fitness class, focusing on high intensity training to gain strength, endurance and cardio fitness. Classes include fit-boxing, strength and cardio circuits and drills. Designed to help you reach your fitness goals fast, have fun and feel your best! Every Monday and Wednesday night at 6pm at Frank Gibson Park, Fremantle Classes run for 45minutes. $15 per session.
