In this three hour workshop, art practitioner and teacher Monique Ford will introduce you to working with alcohol inks. A beautiful, free flowing and fun medium, alcohol inks can be used to create luminous, layered artworks emphasising colour, composition and balance. You will explore the properties of the ink and specialised papers, and learn to achieve vibrant effects with translucent and metallic colours . The possibilities are only limited to what you are willing to try!

What you will learn:
-The application of different alcohol ink colours and effects (including metallics)
-How to create a successful, balanced composition
-How to use layers to create depth in artwork

What you will get: 
-Yupo paper in a range of sizes to work with
-A selection of colours and brands of alcohol inks to use
-Use of a selection of tools to create different effects including blending solution.

What to bring:
No need to bring anything

What to wear:
Closed toe shoes preferred
