Join us for a moving ANZAC Day Dawn Service at the Fremantle War Memorial, Monument Hill at 5:50am, Tuesday 25th April 2017. Overview Gather around Fremantle's first war memorial and join members of the Bicton-Palmyra RSL and the North Fremantle Amateur Football Club in remembering our fallen. About 550 men out of a population of 4,000 from North Fremantle served overseas during World War One. Just over 100 did not return and in 1921, a committee was organised to raise funds for a memorial to these men.
