WA Circus School Summer School Holiday Program

Do you  fancy learning how to juggle, walk a tight rope, climb a silk or swing on a trapeze?  Now is your time to experience CircusWA.  Join one or more of our progressive workshops, where you will learn a variety of circus skills and then get to showcase them on the last day. CircusWA will be running a series of workshops for ages 5+ years. Our progressive workshops are 3 and 4 sessions. SupaStar Synchro Summer Camp

Give your child the unique opportunity this summer to learn the basics of synchronised swimming from a Olympian in a fully immersive, fun and interactive camp! Within the camp your child will learn all about the amazing sport of synchronised swimming and why it is one of the most challenging sports in the world. Kids Gelato making Classes at Gelatissimo

Learn the secrets of making yummy gelato! A fun and delicious experience for the kids, includes a scoop of gelato of their choice. Every Tuesday and Wednesday of the school holidays at 12midday and 1pm. Classes run for 45 minutes, must pre-book in-store. Max. 10 attendees per class so book in quick! January 2018 Telethon Holiday Makers Program

Our Telethon Holiday Makers Program for 5-18 year olds with autism is a great introduction to Autism West and our social groups! We aim to offer a range of activities based on the special interests our participants have identified, which creates a natural social environment where participants have the opportunity to meet like-minded peers and have some new fun experiences along the way! Family Day | Fenians Festival

The Fenian Festival Family Day will be buzzing with activities and information for all the family. The WA Maritime Museum is offering free entry all day (entry fees will apply for the Escape from Pompeii exhibition). There’ll be storytelling, activities, and art exhibitions for kids of all ages. In partnership with the Fenians, Fremantle & Freedom Festival, the WA Maritime Museum is proud to support and present children’s activities during the school holidays. Take the Shamrock Trail to find out about 2 famous Irishmen. Build a model boat workshop for 6-12 year olds. What would it be like to be at sea in a sailing ship in the 1860’s? Remarkable Rome

Join us for a celebration of all things from ancient Rome, as we dig into this world to uncover the story behind the exhibition Escape from Pompeii: the untold Roman rescue. Explore our Roman military uniform touch-table as well as our In Fashion toga draping and Roman ladies’ costume demonstration. Decorate your own paper-craft centurion helmet to take home, or craft a ​colourful mosaic frame or picture. The Grey Company Gladiator School

Want to become a gladiator? Are you keen to risk your life for the opportunity of glory in the combat arena? Join the Grey Company for an insight into the training and techniques you would need to survive the competition in one of ancient Rome’s favourite entertainments, the gladiator games! The Grey Company specialises in historical combat and re-enactment, and is bringing its live action demonstrations to the WA Maritime Museum once again to showcase the martial arts of the gladiator.
