While Fremantle Prison was at times a place of harsh punishment, it also provided prisoners with the opportunity to acquire new skills and reform. The exhibition explores the practice of religion, education, work and training at Fremantle Prison through its…

Come on down, say hi and explore our little piece of brewing happiness. Not sure what style of beer is for you? Want to learn about all things brewing along…

Wildlife Zoo at the Markets

We love having West Oz Wildlife, one of Perth’s leading wildlife petting zoos, at Fremantle Markets. They provide a rare opportunity to get up close and personal with native Australian animals such as koalas, snakes & dingoes. You can usually only glimpse such animals amidst big crowds in larger reserves or zoos. Our Wildlife Zoo offers a more intimate approach, allowing both children and adults to experience these animals in a smaller and more relaxed setting. Entry by Gold Coin Donation.
