Join Curator, Olimpia Cullity, as she walks you through Fremantle Prison’s Transportation exhibition, exploring the legacy of Australia’s convict past.

Transportation explores the forced migration of over 165,000 men, women and children from Great Britain and Ireland to Australia in the 1700s and 1800s. Focusing on personal stories and the geopolitical influence transportation had on the British Empire, and how convicts helped shape Australian society.

Join Fremantle Prison’s Curator as she walks you through the exhibition, focusing on key stories and artifacts, and the exhibition’s journey from concept to delivery.
