Pekho: wear + wares

Pekho offers a range of locally designed and produced womenswear with a focus on natural fibre cloth and unstructured silhouettes in sizes 10 to 20. Alongside the clothing line sits an eclectic range of home wares, accessories, gifts and fresh flowers displayed in an earthy, rustic atmosphere.


Pigeonhole first opened in October 2007 as a tiny, one-stop fashion and gift store tucked away in a heritage arcade in Perth. Founder, Johann Kim, a then 25-year-old Perth local, sought to create a unique retail experience drawn from years of travelling the far corners of the globe. Now with 7 stores around the country, a wholesale office in Sydney and a production office in Seoul, the Pigeonhole story is a David & Goliath tale where the youthful energy of a motely crew of ‘twenty something’s’ has managed to defy all odds and grow into a multi-national business and community.
