Stackwood presents,

Embroider a tee with Sally from Deli

Date & time

21st of October 2017 at 10:00am
until 1:00pm

10 Stack St
WA 6160
  • White Gum Valley

Sally Bower from local Fremantle label Deli will be joining us for a special Spring workshop. Sally makes-to-order clothing from Fremantle focusing on simple shapes and lines with a distinctly fun feel.

You will learn how to design your own embroidered scene to be transferred onto any piece of clothing that you desire.

The techniques you will learn will be similar those used by Sally to embroider the custom dress (pictured) which was commissioned by local designer Many Peaks Assembly.

Take inspiration from Sally's pre-illustrated designs or create your own scene. Think Fremantle summer, sea creatures, items from the supermarket shelf or the leaves of your favourite plant.

Please note: it will not be possible to make something as elaborate as the pictured dress during your workshop. You will come away with a piece of clothing that you have customised yourself and the confidence to keep embroidering at home. We promise you will get addicted!

All tools, materials and morning tea will be provided.

A piece of clothing you would like to embroider. Not limited to a tee - linens, denim and thicker fabrics suggested but not required.

Date and time:

Saturday 21st October, 10:00am - 1:00pm
