Swing It Swing Dance School

Swing It! North Fremantle offers classes that cater for a variety of levels with the focus being on the authentic 1920s and 30s Lindy Hop style. The emphasis is on delivering an exciting and enthusiastic approach to the dance that defined a generation and is still going strong all around the world today! The Literature Centre

The Literature Centre is unique – a place to nurture young people’s interest in reading and writing, using innovative techniques to explore and interpret literature. Uniquely located within the walls of the Old Fremantle Prison, it is the only centre of its kind in Australia. Established in 1993, the Centre offers a diverse range of student programmes in metropolitan, rural and regional areas of Western Australia. Offering affordable training for staff and volunteers in not-for-profit, government and community organisations in self-kindness, self-care and self-compassion. The Self-Kindness Project believes that care, kindness and compassion towards the self are the foundation for positive global change. We believe that the employees and volunteers in care-focused organisations need to develop MORE capacity for self-care than others. Walyalup Aboriginal Cultural Centre

The Walyalup Aboriginal Cultural Centre is located near the Roundhouse at Arthur's Head, Fremantle. This is the site where Captain Fremantle arrived and settlement begun in 1829 and where Whadjuk Nyoongars shouted "Warra Warra" to European arrival. The cultural centre exhibits local Nyoongar artists work and offers programs run by Aboriginal people in Aboriginal art, Nyoongar language, Aboriginal history and cultural tours. Wasamba Carnival Drummers

What do you get when you combine LOUD Rio-Style percussion, a panoply of rainbow-hued circus costumes and the collective joy of many impassioned community members? The performance phenomena that is Wasamba!! Wasamba is a community driven drumming group based in the port city of Fremantle, Western Australia that begun early in 2003. It is a favourite of West Australian event organisers around Perth because of it's unique melange of drumming, dancing, theatre, circus and "portable party". Put simply, WASAMBA makes festivals festivals!

Workshop Freo

Workshop Freo is a creative space overlooking Bather's Beach and the J Shed. We are a little bit tucked away, but when you discover this seaside, heritage space, you will love it! Our workshops are held on evening and weekends, the space can be hired and private workshop bookings are available.

Yelo Productions Empowering shows for kids

Yelo Productions have landed in Fremantle. We offer auditions for kids aged 7-14 to be cast into one of our amazing shows that are all themed around an empowering message for young people! We offer school holiday theatre camps and one-off Saturday workshops - like our 'Shakespeare Saturday's'  that teach a play in in a fun way, in one day! We also create heart-warming and soul searching events.
