Join On the Verandah for a rare opportunity to learn painting and drawing techniques from one of Australia's leading contemporary artists, Judith White.

Tutor Judith said of the Fremantle workshop: "Fremantle will provide a wealth of painting ideas; an urban landscape of people, buildings and history. Contemporary art practice will be the focus.

"We’ll look at how to gather subject reference, what to look for, how to render urban landscape ideas, including using figures, and this will be the basis to develop your individual response to the area.
"The materials list will give everyone enough flexibility to create individual work, while helpful techniques will be demonstrated. Students can expect to complete one painting and have another well on the way by the end of the workshop.”

The workshop will begin with outdoor drawing sessions using a variety of materials, moving into the studio to develop larger in-depth works.

INCLUDED: 3 days tuition with Judith White. Morning and afternoon tea, fruit & cake (GF options).
