Overview
Weekly during all of Term 1 after school classes in electronics and coding. Tuesdays or Wednesdays weekly at 4 pm. Classes are kept small, maximum of 6 (please contact to accommodate a big group).
For ages 7+ and 12+ depending on experience - Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics, or STEAM learning, to gain a basic understanding of ‘Physical Computing'; in other words, building interactive physical systems by the use of software and hardware that can sense and respond to the real world. Identify computer components, learn programming concepts using API (Application Programming Interface) with Raspberry Pi electronic hardware input/output.
Pre-requests: None. Introductory "Make Video Game Controller, Animate, Code & Play" helpful but not essential {Optionally, bring your own USB memory stick for back-ups, but not essential.}
Objective: To Have Fun! Develop an appreciation for creativity, reasoning, problem solving and collaboration while having fun making video games. Understanding basic concepts of electronic circuits interfaced to a computer. Learn by doing hands-on physical computing activities to understand our human relationship to the digital world.

When: Weekly 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm (5 to 5:30 pickup) on Tuesdays or Wednesdays during School Term
