Students will learn the strange but beautiful art of taxidermy. Preserving their very own hatchling chicken to be displayed in a glass dome.  In this two-day, hands-on workshop students will learn this practical method of taxidermy.  Learn about skinning, washing, defleshing, preserving the inside of the skin, and making a body form using plumbers hemp. 
You will also have the option to add some ethically sourced stick insect wings to you're creation. (optional)

Fee: $460 (This fee covers all supplies and tuition.)


- Chemicals, borax, acetone, formaldehyde, detergent. 

- Please bring your own lunch.

- All materials are ethically sourced, where possible.

- Please bring a box or bag to carry your work home in.

- Our studio is behind Paper Bird, go through the shop and down the alley to the Nature Play Courtyard.
