Over two days you will learn the strange but beautiful art of taxidermy, using a rooster. Learn about the specific binding method we'll be using and why it is both practical and important. Learn the correct process of skinning and defleshing, washing, creating forms from hemp, and arranging feathers.

You will be mounting a rooster on a vintage wooden plant stand.This bold art piece will make a statement in your home. This workshop is great for any level of taxidermist.

Time: 2 day workshop starts @ 10.00 am-5.30 pm (over two weekends…)
Fee: $460 (This fee covers all supplies and tuition.)


- Chemicals,  acetone, formaldehyde borax.

- Please bring your own lunch.

- All materials are ethically sourced, where possible.

- Please bring a box or bag to carry your work home in.

- Our studio is behind Paper Bird, go through the shop and down the alley to the Nature Play Courtyard.
